Dental offices are like anything else today: There is limited capacity. At McCosh Family Dentistry, we have a limited number of appointments per day, per week, and even per month.
Once they are filled up, it’s difficult to accommodate anything other than emergency appointments. Things like regular checkups, cleanings, and other non-critical appointments will have to wait.
So far, this year has gone by in a blur. In just a couple of more weeks, the year will be halfway done. So if you haven’t already made dental appointments for yourself and your family, time is literally running out.
Use Your Benefits
If you have dental insurance, you want to be sure to get the most out of your benefits. After all, you are paying for them either directly or indirectly. So you don’t want to let your 2018 dental benefits lapse without using them.
Many dental insurance policies allow at least one annual dental checkup and perhaps one or two cleanings per year. But if you don’t call and schedule your appointments soon, you may get left out in the cold.
The last thing we want to do is not provide dental services to our patients. But there are only a limited number of appointments left this year and they are quickly filling up. Calling today will help assure that you and your family get the most out of your dental benefits.
Maintain Your Dental Health
More importantly, getting regular dental care helps assure that you don’t develop serious oral health issues later. Things like cavities, toothaches, gum disease, halitosis, and other problems can be avoided simply by seeing your dentist according to a regular schedule.
Life is busy for everybody these days. But don’t let other things distract you from something as important as seeing the dentist.
