At McCosh Family Dentistry, we believe in personalizing the experience of visiting the dentist. Unlike other dental practices, we make an effort to get to know each and every one of our patients, often by the first name, so that when you call us to make an appointment, it’s almost like calling a close friend.
In the spirit of getting to know you, here’s some personal information about our founder and leader, Dr. Fernanda McCosh.
Born in Brazil
Dr. Fernanda McCosh first attended dental school in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She practiced dentistry with her father, the esteemed Brazilian dentist Dr. Antonio Bergamin, at their private practice for five years before moving to the United States. As a resident of Florida, Dr. McCosh attended Palm Beach Community College to become a Dental Hygienist and later went on to Nova Southeastern University College of Dentistry in Fort Lauderdale, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree.
Dr. McCosh currently resides in Deerfield Beach, Florida, with her husband Grant, and three sons. In her free time, she enjoys involvement with school and sporting activities within the community. When not in the office, you are sure to find her at one of her son’s activities or riding her bicycle with her husband.
Friends and Family
Dr. McCosh takes the time to get to know you, and listen to your individual needs. After an evaluation, we will identify and explain resolutions with your best interest in mind. Dr. McCosh stays well informed on the latest advancements in dentistry by attending many seminars and continuing education programs.
She is a member of the American Dental Association, The Florida Dental Association, and the Gold Coast Dental Association.
