This is an interesting case
Patient was 63 years old, had misaligned teeth. The tricky part was the existing anterior implant. Implants do not move. They don’t move with braces or aligners. The challenge was to align all teeth to fit the existing implant and create a good cosmetic result. We got a very good result and we made the lower teeth much easier to clean because of proper alignment. After teeth were aligned the patient did a limited whitening. “Limited” because crowns and restorations do not get whiter unless you replace them. Patient was very pleased with the result, and now she can replace her fillings and crowns at her own pace.

A favorite tooth
I find it easier to crown or veneer several teeth at once. You can provide the most perfect smile when they are made all together. However not every patient wants to do that. Some patients just want to repair one or a few teeth instead. That’s when it gets challenging.

Yes, some patients have a favorite tooth. It’s harder to make one single crown blend in, than placing new crowns on all anterior teeth. But, yes, we can do the single crown trick if that’s what the patient wants!
