Our Schedule Is Constantly In Flux

Our Schedule Is Constantly In Flux

Like any busy dental office, our schedule of patient appointments is constantly changing. People have a lot of demands on their time. So things don’t always go according to plan.

This can have unexpected consequences for our dental practice. Sometimes days we thought were going to be light are suddenly very busy. Other times, whole blocks of patient appointments can quickly become open.

It’s okay. We’re used to it. But to make sure you get to see your dentist when you need dental care, there are a couple of things you can do to help us out.

Call with Changes ASAP

If you have to change the time or date of your dental appointment due to some other demand on your time, we understand completely. As we said, it happens all the time. Just please try to let us know as soon as possible so that we can make adjustments to our schedule and get your appointment rescheduled as quickly and conveniently as possible.

If you wait until the day of the appointment — or, even worse after your appointment time has already passed — it can cause problems with our patient appointment schedule. We may not be able to provide important dental services for somebody else who needs it if we are waiting in vain for you to show up for your appointment.

Check with Us Frequently for Changes

Sometimes the frequent changes to our appointment schedule can work to your advantage. If you need to see a dentist but haven’t been able to get in as soon as you would like, it’s a good idea to call our scheduler frequently to see if an appointment has opened up due to a cancellation or rescheduling of another patient’s appointment.

We may be able to get you in within a few days or even on the same day if you are persistent with checking in with us.

Patient scheduling is always a challenge. Making your appointments well in advance can help make things go smoother for both our office and our patients. Communicating changes as early as possible also can help.

Our goal is to provide our patients with the best possible dental care available anywhere. We can achieve this goal if you help us by calling us with schedule changes as early as possible.
